Philosophy

Our philosophy is to nurture children through love and respect, in a stimulating environment. Optimal learning and caring environments are built on co-operation and consultation with the needs of children and families as first consideration. We believe that children learn best when they feel secure and loved and all their needs are being met.

We aim to provide teachers who are warm, dependable, stable experienced adults who are committed to providing for equity in care and education of all children by valuing each child's unique cultural background, customs, language, abilities, likes, dislikes and learning styles. Access and support will be provided to accommodate special needs in an atmosphere of understanding and inclusion.

Bella Grace educational programs are based on the notion of integrated curriculum - responding to the interests and needs of individual children, integrating creative, constructive and expressive facets of programs - promoting independence, problem solving ability, social, physical and communicative development and inspiring a love of learning.

• To evaluate all aspects of service provision and programs in consultation with all stakeholders in order to improve and evolve the service.
• To commit to the National Quality Improvement and Accreditation System.
• To inform and promote practices and programs which enhance health, nutrition and dental care.

Accreditation

Bella Grace is registered with the National Accreditation Council which operates the Quality Improvement Accreditaion System.

We support the 7 principles of quality care and strive to meet the high quality indicators in each area. An information book is available in the centre library.
